Source Policy
EmbodyVC is built to be useful as a reference. Company profiles should be neutral, source-backed, and clear about what is known, unknown, or changing.
Preferred Sources
- Company websites, press releases, filings, and official blogs.
- Reliable news organizations and robotics industry publications.
- Investor announcements and accelerator/company directories.
- Public interviews, conference talks, and founder statements when clearly attributed.
Unknown Information
If a funding amount, investor list, founder detail, or headquarters location is not clearly public, the profile should say that it is unknown instead of guessing.
Citation Placement
The strongest pages place source links close to the claims they support. Bottom source lists are useful, but inline citations make it easier for readers, analysts, search engines, and AI systems to connect a fact with its evidence.
Evidence Levels
- Primary evidence: company announcements, official websites, filings, and customer announcements.
- Secondary evidence: reliable reporting from established publications.
- Context evidence: interviews, podcasts, conference talks, and market commentary.
Corrections
Corrections should include a source link whenever possible. Profiles are updated when better public information becomes available.
Research Disclaimer
